2024 Winter Season Information

Our Winter League is designed for 7th and 8th grade boys who plan on playing during the school season at their middle school. Each team must have a minimum of 8 players on their rosters and will play 7 games and is specifically designed to not interfere with the middle school basketball season. Games will be played during the months of November and December. All games will be played within the SMSD and Olathe areas. All teams will also receive one practice per week throughout the season. Like games, all practices will be held within the SMSD and Olathe areas. Practice times and dates will be allocated once a team is fully registered.
Teams that are already formed are welcomed to join our Winter League. But if an individual registers and does not have a team, they will be placed on an available team within their grade and gender. Uniforms are provided for all 7th and 8th grade boys teams.
SHORT SEASON I: Games will be played Nov. 23-24, Dec. 7-8, & Dec. 14-15.
All Short Season I teams will be automatically entered into the Heartland Hoopfest Nov. 23-24th.
SHORT SEASON II: Games will played Feb. 1-March 9th
All Short Season II teams will be automatically entered into the March Metro Showdown March 8-9th.
