The GABL High School Basketball League offers students in 9th–12th grades a competitive and organized basketball experience during the winter season. Registration for the 2025–26 season opens September 1 and closes December 13, with games taking place on Sundays from January 11th through February 22nd. Each team plays eight games, held on Sundays at Shawnee Mission and Olathe School District facilities, as well as select private gyms across the metro area.
All teams must have a minimum of eight and a maximum of twelve players, and every team is required to have an adult coach who is at least 21 years old and present at all games. Players must be part of a team to register, and all participants will register individually. While practice time is not included with registration, official league jerseys are provided and must be worn during all games. Cost: $100
