3v3 Developmental League (K-2nd)
Our 3v3 Developmental League is designed for players in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd grade to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while having fun and developing a love for the game. The league is geared towards the new or inexperienced player, which creates a great jumping off point for young children to not only learn the game, but fall in love with the game of basketball.
Each session lasts an hour and consists of skill development, a lesson from one of our GABL Game Managers, and a 3-on-3 game in which players have the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned. Teams are based on elementary school, gender, and grade. Teams are generally composed of 6 players in order to provide each player equal playing time. If too many or too few players register individually from one school, they will be combined with players from other elementary schools. All teams will use a 27.5" ball and hoops are lowered to 8-foot goals.
- We accept team and individual registrations.
- Teams are gender- and grade-based, not age-based. No coed teams.
- All players receive a jersey and a participation award.
- Sessions are one-hour in length and include both instruction and competition.
- Each session consists of warm-up/skill development time and a 3-on-3 game in which players have the opportunity to apply the skills they have learned. Games consist of two 15-minute halves and a brief half time. The clock runs continuously, stopping about every 5 minutes for substitutions.
Fall 5v5 League (1st-8th Grade)
Our Fall League is designed for boys and girls teams in 1st grade through 8th grade. Each team will play a 6-week season starting in September.
Teams who win first place in their division will receive an award at the end of the season.
Fall registration will be handled on an individual basis. Players who register individually may request a coach while completing this process. Individuals without a coach or team may register and we will form teams when possible. Teams can purchase and reserve practice time when they register by selecting YES in the registration.
Teams will not be provided uniforms. It will be up to the head coach to order uniforms for their teams. Coaches can reach out to our contact, Jock's Nitch, for all jersey orders.
Goal height and ball size will be based on grade level of the teams competing.
MOKAN Future Club Basketball (4th-8th Grades)

The MOKAN Future program is designed for boys and girls in grades 4–8 who want to take their game to the next level. Combining elite player development with competitive team play, MOKAN Future emphasizes skill-building, basketball IQ, and character growth over short-term wins. Players train under experienced coaches in high-quality facilities, with a focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and accountability.
Throughout the season, teams practice regularly and compete in leagues and tournaments across the Kansas City area, providing valuable game experience in a challenging yet supportive environment. Backed by the proven success of the MOKAN Basketball organization (which has helped send over 150 alumni to play college basketball, including NBA players), the MOKAN Future program prepares young athletes for success both on and off the court.
