The Marcus Priddy Award
The Marcus Priddy Award was established in honor of the late Shawnee Mission West girls' basketball coach and GABL summer league staff member. The award recognizes a current coach (youth, high school, or college) who is making a positive difference in the lives of their players.

- 2020 – Britni Jarvis
Coach Jarvis is a former GABL coach that was nominated by a former player of Coach Priddy. Britni is an instructional coach for a virtual K-12 school in the Olathe School District, as well as an adjunct professor for Johnson County Community College. -
2019 – Gary Brown
Coach Gary has coached girls and boys youth basketball for over 30 years. He began coaching his daughter in the late 1980s and has been with Eclipse Basketball Club for over 15 years, currently serving as the club’s Recruiting Coordinator. He’s known for his mentorship, dedication, and commitment to developing young athletes on and off the court. -

2017 – Mark Quandt
Mark began coaching in 1982 with his nephew’s 3rd grade team and continued coaching youth basketball and baseball for many years. He often coached alongside his son and supported teams in need. He was nominated as a Coach of Character in both 2016 and 2017 and is also a high school official in multiple sports. -
2016 – Sean Reilly
Head varsity boys' basketball coach at St. Thomas Aquinas High School since 2002. He has also coached at DeSoto High School, Johnson County Community College, and Shawnee Mission North. Sean serves as Mission Coordinator at Aquinas and is active in state and local coaching associations.
